Rochester Molding's core business is the manufacturing of custom injection molded parts for various industries and markets.
Our performance in quality and delivery has resulted in several partnerships with design and manufacturing of plastic products. Quality and response time are our top priority for every customer. Protoype parts can be delivered within 3 - 5 days, depending on the limited complexity of the part, using the exact materials that are needed to suit production needs.
Plastic mold design, fixture design and gage design with hard copy prints and or electronic files percustomer request. Mold designs are done for injection, compression, and blow molding.
Complete tool room capabilities. Note: all molds for prototype through production are built in-house. See facilities list for in-house machining capabilities. All molds, fixtures, and gages are maintained and repaired in-house.
Engineering support: Provide manufacturing input to piece part drawings for ease of manufacturing to assure optimal cost and quality for the customer. Advise on any design impacts associated with differences between prototype, pre production, and production parts.
In addition, unlike other custom injection molders, Rochester Molding specialized molding advanced materials with the capability of over-molding plastic onto metal. Our engineering and experience in custom injection molding have provided us with the expertise for design and economical production. Therefore, the benefit is a part with wear surfaces of metal but with the weight reduction of a plastic part! Many design engineers have incorporated this exceptional feature.
